Rental properties on Halifax Estates range from one-bedroom cottages to large houses with extensive gardens. Most are in and around the charming villages of Bugthorpe, Kirby Underdale and Bishop Wilton.

The Estate aims to build strong communities and encourage long-standing tenants. Offering high-quality, well-maintained properties helps to achieve this.

Halifax Estates has an in-house team of builders and joiners to maintain the properties. The team also carries out refurbishment projects. Other services for electrical, plumbing and decoration works are sub-contracted.

FAQ

Do you offer short residential lets of six months or less?

No, our residential properties are initially offered either on a six or 12 month Assured Shorthold Tenancy. Moving forward, we discuss fixed term renewals usually for a minimum 12 months.

Do you interview prospective tenants?

Yes, all long-term tenants are interviewed by either Lord Halifax or Lord Irwin.
